My Tangles · Zentangle

Hideaway

I had a wonderful weekend at both the CZT Hideaway and Retreat to Paradise. It was both inspiring and humbling to be around that much talent. Both retreats were run so well.  Over the next few weeks, I’m sure I’ll be sharing some of the objects form our goodie bags as I have time to tangle them.

But in the meantime, I want to share my newest tangle that I call Hideaway. I got it from the design of a confessional screen from the TV show Touch and introduced it at the Hideaway.  It is easy to do and has endless tangleations.

Hideaway Borders
I did this tile at the hideaway. That beauty in the middle is based on a tangle that Peg Farmer introduced at the CZT Hideaway.  (Follow the link to Anne’s blog for a sneak peek.)
And, finally, I decided to use it in this week’s Diva challenge: using square strings.

If you want to see more about what we did at CZT Hideaway, you need to see Anne’s blog.  She did a great job showing the highlights of this wonderful weekend.

If you try this tangle, please let me know what you think of it.

(Come back tomorrow for Day 33 of One Zentangle a Day virtual book club.)

  1. These are so neat, I've never tried to do this before…maybe I need to take your 'zentangle quiz!' I've never seen a step-by-step like that before, thanks for sharing. And I just became your latest follower. :)Rita

  2. Thanks so much. I hope you continue to like what you see here. The step-by-step instructions are what is the makes Zentangle a process that anyone can do. Take the quiz. Give it a try.
