Birdie Feet

The Diva challenge this week is to use a tangle called Birdie Feet. How appropriate. Both Birdie’s feet and mine are blistered and sore from all of the walking we did during Portland during LeakyCon. I did my first 5K and haven’t had any time for them or recover. Birdie wore all kinds of uncomfortable shoes because when was “cos-playing.” I get corrected when I call it “dressing up.” A rose by any other name…
I thought Birdie Feet would be a nice contrast to a twirly-whirly.

we had a few hours to kill in Seattle, since I mistakenly bought train tickets to Vancouver Washington instead of Vancouver CANADA. Duh. Just glad I discovered that before we got on the train going the wrong way.
It wasn’t a bad place to wait. Just check out the architecture:

I think next week in Washington, I will have to deconstruct some of these patterns into tangles. Talk about inspiring.
Finally, here is the tangle I did during the LeakyCon closing ceremony. Wish I would have thought to tangle during more of the con.

  1. Bird Feet and Twirly Whirly made me think of that Manfred Mann song Blinded by the Light…but that was…"little Early-Pearly came by in his curly-wurly." WAY different. The photos of the train station are awesome! Can't wait to see how you deconstruct those.Love the birdie feel and the Twirly Whirly's. Thanks for the inspirations.
