Thanks, Jean. The only colors I used were black micron, brown micron, white gellyroll, and clear glaze. The glaze is what brings out the center mooka and one of the ‘ribbons’ of the auraknot. It took me a while to get used to how many different shades of brown you can get with just the one pen, but now I am enjoying it.
Thanks. You can thank Laura for that outer mooka. No way would I ever consider using it in that way, but when the only other choice was auraknot, it wasn’t much of a choice!
Thanks, Don. It took a ‘higher than usual amount of concentration’ but I’m not a big fan of traditional auraknot, so I wanted to try something different. I love how these challenges make me stretch my imagination and do things I wouldn’t normally do.
So pretty and elaborate. I love the wavy lines of the Aura Knot and how you embellished them – and the Mooka in the middle is killer!

Love your center Mooka. Your self imposed challenge looks like it is coming along fabulously.

Beautiful to use as a Zendala. I like the colors on the tan too.

Like how you varied auraknot. It gives it an airy/lacy look rather than the weave.

Thanks. I can’t take credit for the layout since I used a prestrung Zendala, but I’m glad you like it.
