May Flowers

Today was the first “May Flowers” class of the week. It was colorful. It was whimsical. It was fun. When spring fever hits, that’s just what you need.

I promised my students that they could use the die cut flowers as a string if they wanted a traditional tile. Since the diva challenge for the week is to do white on black, that is how I did my sample.

How’s that for flower power?

  2. Like the layered May flowers. Your challenge tile reminds me of ceiling mosaics in some government building. Not sure why. I like it thought. Did you use a Zen stone for shading or something else?

  3. Your flowers are scrumptious! They look so great as a flower collage! And you got a lot of contrast and shaded more than one color with that white on black challenge…wonderful work!
