Valentine’s Day String Theory

double-heart

The Diva challenge this week is string theory – tangle using a double heart as a string. Coincidentally, last week, I had just taught a string theory class – and I did double heart string! I love it when that works out, especially since I’ve been holed up writing for the last few weeks writing. (Which is why you haven’t heard from me in a while.)

I hope you had a great Valentine’s Day. I spent it driving to Illinois to get away from the skunk who was trying to attract a mate in our crawl space. I had been in an AirBnB just up the road from home or a few days, but after my class, I decided to impose on my daughter at college! She has no roommate right now and won’t charge me rent, so I’m here busy writing.

I brought my tangle supplies, 27-inch iMac, scanner, and reference material and have very few distractions, so I’ve been making some significant progress on my book. (Finally!) Now, I should go back to writing.

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. Oooooo! what are you writing Chris? A tangle book? (She asks wistfully.) This diva tile has great 3D. It’s like one of those heart shaped cushions you see at this time of year in all the shop windows.

  2. I love the centre part of your ribbon heart! So rounded and puffy looking.❤ I’m looking forward to seeing your tangle book on renaissance tiles… I hope it’s a how to book!
