Tying Up Loose Ends

It has been a verrry busy week here. the deadline for class submissions for the HOOT convention was Friday, the deadline for Artiscape is next week, and I’m getting ready to leave town on Thursday. And since my biggest motivator is a deadline, I did most of the work in the last 10 days. I still have the forms to fill out for Artiscape, but the bulk of the work is done! What a relief!

But first, this week’s Diva Challenge is to use a tangle called eaxy
She said it was supposed to be easy. the first 2 steps were… Let us leave it at that. Instead of starting with a new tile, I added it to a tile that had a bit too much white space. It was one I did for another Diva challenge. Sadly, I didn’t take a picture of the before tile thinking it would be easy enough to just find it. That seems to be the story of my life: everything seems like it should be easier than it actually is!

It definitely doesn’t have a problem with too much white space now! I just started tangling and couldn’t find a good place to stop!

Here are some of the samples from the classes I’ve submitted.

If you are going to be near Columbus in April or August, you can’t go wrong with either of these events.

Now I am off to pack for: road trip to Bloomington, IL for 2 of Alexa’s concerts, ZenAgain in Rhode Island, a few more days in Bloomington waiting for Alexa’s Thanksgiving break, still unknown Thanksgiving in Illinois, and then Chicago Tardis before another long drive home. I’m glad I have a few days to pack for all that.

See you back here in a few.

  1. Your tile is gorgeous Cris! I am so sorry that eaxy seems to be more difficult than i thought. I guess i tangled it often that`s why i am unobjective 🙂 it is a high focus tangle and i guess it needs time to get into it….Thanks a lot for giving a try, good luck and happy tangling from Cologne to you, Nadine
